Nanshan Ski Resort covers approximately 2.7 million square meters and is a comprehensive four-season resort offering activities such as skiing, water skiing, grass skiing, tobogganing, and paragliding. The resort features beautiful scenery and offers a range of activities categorized as “winter skiing, spring hiking, summer water fun, and autumn fruit picking.” It is currently the largest, most advanced, and best-equipped ski resort in North China, with a diverse selection of ski trails.
The resort boasts 11 ski trails of varying levels—high, intermediate, and beginner—and is home to China’s first snowboard park, the Nanshan Mellow Snowboard Park. This park was developed in collaboration with the renowned Austrian company MELLOW and includes facilities such as four jumps, a 6×3 meter snowboard wall, six rails, a U-shaped half-pipe, and the country’s only “cat jump” and children’s snowmobile trail. It also features the first six-person snow soccer field in China.

- Tickets: Weekdays: 4-hour pass for ¥165, all day for ¥185; Weekends and holidays: 4-hour pass for ¥255, all day for ¥295. Ski wear, coaching fees, and other entertainment activities are charged separately.
- Opening Hours: Winter daytime: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Nighttime: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM (closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day).
Location and Transportation
- Location: Located directly south of Miyun District, approximately 62 kilometers from Beijing’s Sanyuanqiao.
- Public Transport: Take bus 980 Express from Dongzhimen Long-Distance Bus Station to Taiyangjiayuan, then transfer to a taxi.
- Direct Ski Bus: Daily departures at 8:30 AM from Sanyuanqiao Station (Parking lot in front of Time International Lianjia Real Estate) and Wudaokou Station (Left at the first traffic light west of Exit B of Wudaokou Subway Station). Return at 5:30 PM.

Discounted Tickets: If you plan to ski for a whole day, it’s much cheaper to book your lift tickets in advance on the official website rather than buying them on-site.
Rental Equipment: You can rent ski clothes at the service hall of the ski resort for 40 RMB per set (including jacket and pants). Renting only a ski jacket or pants is 20 RMB per item. A deposit of 200 RMB per item/set is required. Lockers are available for 10 RMB each. Snow goggles are 20 RMB per pair, helmets are 30 RMB each, and gloves are 5 RMB per pair.
Facilities: The ski resort is equipped with high-tech Austrian snowmaking systems and German snow grooming machines. There are one four-person and one two-person cable car, along with nine surface drag lifts. For snow fun, the resort features German-made Wiegand dry toboggan runs (1318 meters), Canadian snow tubes, Korean sleds, American snow mountain gliders, and children’s paragliders.
Accommodations: The most romantic lodging in the resort consists of three snow-cabin villas by Lambo Lake. The 24 double rooms are equipped with cozy European-style stoves. There are also two hillside villas—the Norwegian log cabins—with a living room, dormer windows, terrace, and kitchen, providing a comfortable stay for family ski vacations.

Norwegian Villas: Located on the hillside, these villas each feature six bedrooms (four standard rooms and two tatami rooms), a living room, dormer windows, a fireplace, and a kitchen. The price for a villa with six bedrooms (accommodating 12 people) is 4880 RMB per night, increasing to 5880 RMB per night during Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Spring Festival holidays.
